xmark and names of bookmark folders!

I had to reformat my laptop so had to download Firefox and Xmarks again. after that, i synchronized my bookmarks with my file on the server. the problem is that some of the bookmark folder names are named "Glass" of all things. One was named Travel [not sure about others]. So I go in and change the name back to travel save and close firefox; open it again, and guess what? yes, the name is back to "glass"...very frustrating. now don't tell me that the bookmarks were uploaded like that cause they weren't. i have two other synchronized computers to prove it [and besides that, why would anyone name a folder with airport and motel links, glass? I looked at my file on the server and the particular folder I'm speaking of is called "glass". thank you in advance for any and all help with this matter.
