Xmarks Connection reset, unable to contact the Xmarks server
I am having problems since upgrading to X marks and always keep getting Connection reset with X marks, never had any issue with foxmarks.
Nothing has changed on the network since then, so I am guessing this is an issue with Xmarks
This also happens with the Xmarks Setup Wizard for the Initial Synchronization.
I get past the log in but fails in the sync steps.

I would appreciate if anybody who has faced a similar problem has a fix or work around to this problem can offer their advice.

Inappropriate?Connection resets can occur for a variety of reasons. Are there any additional details in the error reported in your xmarks.log?
Tools > Xmarks > Settings, Advanced: Show Log File
It'll be at the end of the logfile to look at your most recent synchronization.
Something that might be worthwhile to check is whether you can visit http://login.xmarks.com/ and/or http://sync.xmarks.com/ in that browser to make sure that your network isn't blocking connections.

Inappropriate?I am able to login to my web account and I get the "It works!" message on following the sync URL.
