Xmarks hangs on initial setup
I'm currently running Windows 7 Build 7100, with both Internet Explorer (8.0.7100) and Firefox (3.5.2). I installed the Xmarks add-on for IE with no problems. I've tried to install the add-on for Firefox twice but when doing the syncronization part of the installation Xmarks hangs. I've noticed that my bookmarks seem to have been copied over from the server but Xmarks never seems to finish.
I would like to say that up until now I have had no issues in Ubuntu with Firefox 3.5 or Vista with both IE and Firefox. I think it may be related to Windows 7.

Can you post the last 10 lines of your logfile? You can open it here:
Xmarks Settings->Advanced->Show logfile.

Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 RC Support Forum located here http://tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads available there for additional support and feedback.

Thanks for the speedy reply below are the last 13 lines, if you would like the whole log file I can send it. I forgot to mention that I had uninstalled and re-installed but had gotten the same results. I've also reinstalled Ubuntu with Firefox on one of my partitions and had no issues.

Inappropriate?With the latest update of Firefox 3.5.3 and trying Profiles on Xmarks the problem seems to have gone away.
