xmarks keeps crashing ie8
IE8 crash when I select the home icon. Only occurred after Xmarks installation. I had to uninstall Xmarks to return IE8 to functionality.

Inappropriate?Hmm. I too faced some problems on Xmarks. But no crash. I faced sync problems sometimes, but when i reboot , it works. But my IE8 does not crash. Install the recent version and try. Also check for Xmarks news on my blog. http://beware-microsoft.blogspot.com

Inappropriate?IE8 no longer crashes, and XMarks syncs, but the favorites bar icons don't work yet. They are a mess.

Hi Nate,
The icons do not match the content of the URL. The individual favorite bar shortcuts are correct, but you have to hover the cursor over each favorite to see which one to select. Some icons are correct, most are not. -

Thanks for the update. Just to make sure I'm understanding the problem correctly, are the icons (favicons) that are mis-matched displaying an icon that isn't in your bookmark set, or from URLs that are in your bookmark set? -
Inappropriate?Yes. For instance now I show 10 yahoo! favicons, although I have only one Yahoo URL and othe favicons I'm supposed to have are mismatched to the correct URL.

Inappropriate?Well Russ one of the reasons I don't allow yahoo on ny computer system is the virus prolifiation from yahoo users. Yahoo it's self does not prolifiate viruses but the users on the site do. This has been a problem for years.
