Xmarks on Mac keeps asking for password
I have checked remember password but each time Xmarks syncs it asks me for the password (and even shows a check in the remember passwords box). I see others have this on IE / Windows but I'm using Firefox on Mac OS X.

Inappropriate?Access "Add-ons" and then "Extensions" then click on "Xmarks" and then "Options". When the dialog box opens click on the "Sync" Tab and under the heading "Synchronization Options" - UNCHECK - the option to "Enable Automatic Sychronization". This should take care of the problem. I have "Sync on Shutdown" - CHECKED; it only asks for your login info if you have unsync'ed Bookmarks and it will only come up when you shut down Firefox and have the option to Cancel if you desire.
There is one other option that works, but I don't like this option, and that is to click on the "Status" Tab and input your "Username" & "Password" and then - CHECK - the input box for "Remember this password between sessions" option. I don't like this option, but if your OK with it then it will automatically log you in, when needed.
These are the only two way I know of to keep the login dialog box from popping up at regular intervals.

Thank you I'll try the first approach. I have tried the second approach but it did not seem to be working. -
Inappropriate?Well, it worked for me; the first approach. Let me, let us know how it works for you. It should. You might have to not only restart Firefox, but your computer, as well.
I’m still confident
