xmarks seems corrupted somehow, uninstall/reinstall does not fix
On my netbook, which I hadn't used in a while, I noticed that xmarks was out of date. I installed the latest version and tried to run it. And keep getting sync errors.
Strangley in the settings window. if I check the box to say "save my password between sessions" -- Then clicking OK does nothing. Only if I uncheck that box, can I get the settings window to close by clicking OK.
I uninstalled, and reinstalled -- but the initial setup window did not come up, and it already had my username, so I guess it does not really fully uninstall.
When I try to run initial setup manually, or when I uncheck and recheck sync password, I enter the PIN, and then click next, and then it says PIN verified or whatever -- but the Next button is then greyed out, and I can't do anything.
If I try to uncheck sync password, and then click OK, and then reopen settings window, the box for sync passwords is checked again.
Please help!

Inappropriate?OK -- so I tried, uninstall, restart PC, re-install, -- same thing.
I tried, uninstall, then went to about:config: searched "xmark" and manually reset most values. then reinstalled -- this caused wizard to come up, and but when it got the part that would have asked me if I wanted to do password sync, it just had a blank white screen.
So I closed out the wizard and went in normal setting, and still have al the same problems/behavior
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hey bdb4249,
It sounds like you have a corrupted Firefox profile, I'd suggest creating a new one and re-installing Xmarks. Directions are here:

Thanks
