XMarks sync fails every time for IE8.
IE8 will not sync. It ALWAYS generates a sync error. The error message is 
. I am using Xmarks IE sync version 1.0.11 which the auto-update says is the latest rev. Please help!

Thanks for posting a screen shot of the error, but do you think you could post the last 10 lines of your logfile as well? It will give us a better picture of what is going on.
You can open your logfile here:
IE->Tools->Xmarks->Advanced->Show Logfile
Hopefully we can get this sorted out for you quickly.

Thanks for the update, but is it possible to scroll down to the very bottom of your logfile and copy the last 10-20 lines of your logifle? We write a ton of information during a synchronization, but the error messages are usually at the very bottom. Thanks for your help!!! -

That's certainly an odd error message. It seems like it might be happening when we attempt to synchronize Favorites in your Windows Mobile folder. Do you synchronize with a Windows Mobile cellphone too?

Yes I do sync to a Windows Mobile phone. As an experiment I just deleted all the contents within the Mobile Favorites folder. That yielded no change to the error condition.

I just finished an update for Xmarks for IE that might fix this. It hasn't been officially released yet but you can download it and try it out here: https://static.xmarks.com/clients/ie/...
