Redirecting our old chamber website domain to new site and domain
We want to redirect our original website address to the new domain name where our new website resides... what is the best way to do this?

The best way to do this is to use a 301 redirect.
This is done by uploading or modifying an existing ".htaccess" file.
Using FTP open (or upload) the .htaccess file and add the following line:
Redirect 301 / http://www.newdomain.com/
This will catch any traffic on your old site and redirect it to your index page on your new server which is the new website and domain.
