I cant seem to find the .cab files :(

OK, so i know it's probably staring me in the face but..... where are the .cab files when I download to my desktop? I've tried several downloads but see no .cabs at all. Can some kind soul help me out please?

Problems with Ringtones in Windows 6.1 on AT&T Tilt

I have recently downloaded the Windows Mobile 6.1 onto my AT&T Tilt. Now I can not set my music as my ringtone. I have already tried copying and pasting it into the Windows > Rings Folder and my ringtone still does not show up in the Drop Down List. Any help is appreciated!

i-contacts uninstall problem

i-contacts problem : even after i unistall i-contacts it's still there and i can't use the windows mobile contacts. whenever i choose contacts either form the phone screen or the programs i see the i-contacts.
this way i cannot browse by company or by name like i used to, thru the window mobile 5 utility, how can i get back to it without hard reseting?

How to get program (iContact for example) to work on a Japanese WM6 ppc?

hi - I now have a Japanese WM6 ppc as i moved to Japan recently. Unfortunately when i try to use a lot of the downloads (eg "iContact") which i downloaded from this site, I get an error something like (its in Japanese) "cant open the iContact.exe. The name is not correct or you are missinig a compnent. If this does not resolve, please re-install"

I think the software will work but there is obviously a pointing error or something?

Can anyone give me an idea of how to solve this ?

I am an user of PocketPC for last 3 years and always felt stiffled due to the stupid interface. I bought a jasjam for 1000$ but could not use it with one hand, could not use the touch screen with fingers. Thats stupid really as HTC and Apple has demonstrated that the best hardwares are only limited by the interfaces. But It does not make sense to upgrade to a new hardware and spend a fortune when the problem is with really the interface.

So hundreds of experiments with many freewares with touch friendly interface, I came across Iconsoft PhoneEx.

It is, in one word, just fabulous.

Nicely executed buttons, lively and bright. Intuitive and user friendly. I wanted this for 3 years.

The best part is that they have executed a version for 320X320 screen resolution too which would help me install this on my Samsung i780.

Now this is a must have for any pocketpc.

Please can you remove the version of ProfileTimer you are hosting, it is no longer freeware and I am the author! The new version which requires a donation is on the xda developers forum which I assume it was originally taken from by yourseleves.
