Problems with Ringtones in Windows 6.1 on AT&T Tilt
I have recently downloaded the Windows Mobile 6.1 onto my AT&T Tilt. Now I can not set my music as my ringtone. I have already tried copying and pasting it into the Windows > Rings Folder and my ringtone still does not show up in the Drop Down List. Any help is appreciated!

just copy the ringtones to the Windows folder, not Windows > rings and everything should be ok.
P.S. You may need yo softreset your phone -

Inappropriate?Hi all! Actually even after installing the "noringtonelimit" patch, I couldn’t see most of my ringtones in the list.
Then I just copied them back to my PC and voila! I found the problem! The culprit was the "Set As Ringtone" option, which does copy the files to the My Ringtones directory, but wickedly makes them "Hidden" files. And since they are hidden, the Sounds and Notifications can't see them either. :-P
I changed the file properties (removed the check on the “Hidden”) on my PC and copied them back to my phone and they show up in the Sounds and Notifications list now. :-)
