Friendfeed Facebook application does not update with new items
I installed the FriendFeed Facebook application - it worked for a while. Then it ceased to work : new entries seem not to be imported anymore and nothing from FriendFeed appears in the Facebook News Feed anymore.
I am not the only one to experience this : judging only from the wall and the forum of the FriendFeed Facebook application, there are dozen of users reporting the problem, and they are only the ones that complain - the number who experience it may be orders of magnitude higher.
FriendFeed has answered me, explaining that they are aware of the problem, and working on a fix.
FriendFeed explained me that the Facebook session key is no longer valid for some reason. By remove the FriendFeed application from Facebook, and then re-adding it, it was supposed to start updating again. But I tried that fix a couple of time and waited for a couple of days to see if any updates get through, but none did.

Inappropriate?After a couple of weeks, I gave the remove - re-add drill another try... And it worked ! The Friendfeed Facebook app is updating the Newsfeed again... Let's hope it lasts - maybe the problem has actualle been fixed.

Inappropriate?Down again : after a couple of days or normal operation, the Friendfeed Facebook application ceased again to update the Newsfeed. The problem is apparently still there. Will anyone enlighten us about the root of this problem and the actions in progress to check it ?

The root of the problem is that Facebook changed the way apps are permitted to publish to the wall. Inappropriate?I followed the link for the additional permission ("Access my data even when I'm not using the application"). Then I added a couple of items to my Friendfeed and left it overnight. But no item has yet appeared on Facebook. Now I'll try the remove - re-add drill again and see if it keeps working with the additional permission. I'll keep you informed of the result.

Inappropriate?Stopped again. In fact it was only holding while I was logged in on Facebook, but when none of my computers were logged in for about a day, it stopped. So the problem still exists unsolved. This is quite annoying. Tell me if there is anything I can do to help you qualify this incident better.

Inappropriate?Now it mostly works, but sometimes skips a few entries. I'm wondering how many people suffer this problem - isn't it strange that it is not more widely reported among the 80k users of this application ? The presence of a FriendFeed tab does mitigate the impact of the problem though.

Inappropriate?I'm pretty new to FriendFeed and Facebook, so am wondering - under the FriendFeed tab in Facebook am I only supposed to see my posts? That's all that is appearing. They appear there and on my Wall, but I would think my FriendFeed friends' posts should appear as well. Or is that not correct? A bit puzzled about this. -
Inappropriate?I have tried to get the Brightkite -> FF -> Facebook cascade working a while now. But the Facebook FF app seems broken and just behaves badly. When clikcing it, ecpecting to see perhaps some settings or other usefull stuff, it shows as many has reported, your FF page inside your facebook. Useless. All I want is to post images to my FF, and then have them propagated to my Facebook wall as visible new posts for my friends. This does not work.
I’m hoping someone responsible for the FF app is in dialouge with Facebook staff about these issues.

Inappropriate?I did the authorize and remove re-add and it did nothing. I put it in a box tab at the top but nothing has posted to my wall since I added the app this morning. Let me re-phrase that...it worked for a minute then it stopped.

Inappropriate?Looking into the same issue myself. It seems to work fine when I have it as a box on my box tab, but when I try to add it to my profile page as a box on my profile, it says that there is no content until FF adds content. Frustraging.
