I was permannetaly banned for no reason today at 8 o'clock eastern us time.
I am wandering why I was banned because I WAS warned and I did thank them for the warning, but then when I log in today it says I'm perma banned. My account is Raine Sage TOS. Yes I am a charity owner. I typed a long email for them to read so I can get my account back. : Here is the email they sent me..

Two of my friends on Gaia, TheOceansTide and Ran-Kuhn, were apparently banned because of my stupidity. I had bought gold off-site, which I thought was OK (I have since learned the hard way that it is not). So, I bought them some gifts to be nice to them, and now they are banned.

They shouldn't have been, since they are completely innocent. They had absolutely no idea where I got the gold from. Is there a way to get them un-banned? This is not fair at all!

My main gaiaonline account, angel junkie, was established in 2003. I have worked hard and donated time, money, and effort into this account. I took a hiatus a few years ago and recently came back to gaia. I have worked very very hard to get the items that I have on that account-I had over 700 most event items, mcs, eis, and interactive items-making my account worth a hefty sum of gaian gold. I am proud of the work I put into that account and it was my very first-I've gone through a lot with it and it has been with me through the years. Recently, 7/7/08, I was on my account one minute the next I was kicked off and told to log-in again. Upon attempting to log in the site told me that I was banned and to inquiry@gaiaonline.com. Well I emailed but no response, except the ticket number 212276...I haven't even received an email stating why I am banned. the email address associated with this account is bleu_berrie@hotmail.com. I have also just tried to submit a ticket through a link I found on here that number is 214750 (sorry I didn't know they went to the same place). My mule account which is not banned is angel-s vampyric aura, you can contact me there as well as here or my email account. Please I never would do anything to hurt gaia or go against the tos! I know that I can be banned at anytime for any reason, but I would like to know why and if I can ever get my old account back. I have donated hundreds-if not over a thousand of my hard earned dollars to gaia over the years that's how much i value gaia! Please help me. What is my recourse?

I was wondering about any ways that I could try to get unbanned(if it can that is). or at least any of the other 4 accounts that were banned with my main. (Cause I think that's a little unfair, two of those were my friend's accounts, whom I was trying to help out because of a recent hacking D: )

i was told to come here to get free gaia gold and now i don't know what to do. so im pretty confused.

well i was banned just a short while ago and the reson they gave me is i was buying gaia gold. i was wondering when i ever recived gold then it hit me i was traded items to my account (kradrokra) and someone must have bought them, now i sent in alot of complaints and was ignored just repeating saying i was banned
i dont even know what items i recived where infected so why was i banned i was never even given a clear response now my question is why has gaia online has banned me if iv never done anything wrong, been a member from 04 and always supported the site with MC and donations they could have even just taken the infected items out of my inventory but instead they decided to ban me and gave no evidince at all to me!!
why do they do it like that? why do they ignore the users who plead their innocents

Decided to give one last try. I know there are some Gaia admins and mods that browse this place. My main account "hucklecat" was caught up in the March 10 bans. The last email i received again stated I botted or used methods to obtain gold against Gaias TOS.

Someone please take a look at my trading history and marketplace activity and combine that with what I spent out of pocket for Gaia cash and MC's. It should be pretty straight forward that all of my wealth is from buying and selling honestly. Also, I am not sure if you all look at IP address activity or if it is strictly by account, so keep in mind that I have 2 kids that are active on Gaia and there were times when we were all logged in at the same time and surfing around and trading stuff. We did trades among ourselves because my kids were always asking to borrow something. Shortly before I was banned, I did sell 2 wind blankets for a decent profit but they were purchased and sold legitimately. Come on guys, give me a little help here. One last look?

I have been blocked by gaia on march 10, I have also been hacked once on another account once before. I have not cheated, scummed, spamed, hack, or did anything to break the gaiaonline rules.

I wish to be unbanned as i am an innocent gaiaonliner, and I speak for all the innocent ones that have been blocked on this day and never given back their account.

I love gaiaonline to hang out on, and made some great friends while helping some new players get started by donating them a few K or so as when I was new some people gave me gold too...I also love fishing on there, and was getting a bit better each time.

I'm still too young to go to the casino..So I play the online slot or card game.

It's great knowing you have a whole community not knowing who you really are in the real world...if you're popular, or a geek, if aa jock, or a nerd in the computer lab...

though, there are many that help out...there may be a few that aren't quite nice...but we still support each other...

and all the event on gaia are just wonderful...like on valentines day where you give people kisses... and the water ballon fight in the summer

Okay, so this morning I was logged into my Gaia account "lttlechkn" and i went to refresh the page and it told me I needed to login. When I tried to login in, it continually told me that my password was incorrect. I know that I am being impatient, but any info would be much appreciated. Also I tried to input all the emails I could think of for a forgotten password, and all of them come back to me saying that email doesn't have an existing account. I am really curious as to what is going on here. I would really like my account back, seeing as to how I have donated a lot of money to Gaia for multiple items.

Why won't images from Gaia Online (and Friendster) won't load in by browser?

My ISP is Smart Communications, Inc. and for some odd reasons everyone with that ISP have trouble loading images from the said sites. But Globe Telecommunications (the other major ISP in the Philippines) can load perfectly the images.

i just got hacked, my account that was hacked was Aarons_Guitar. i just got hacked 7/24/08 and i need it back soon. also the profile background clearly states "this account has been hacked by script killers."so wouldn't that be a pretty big sign for you guys that should be alerted right away. they first hacked me at 11:48ampst. i have not logged in since because he changed the email and password. please help i at least need to get my account back by 7/31/08 or it may be to late.
i don't mean to seem impatient but my dad and mom are divorced, im not allowed to get on gaia at my dads house because he thinks it screws up the computer. recently he was mobilized in the army and had to go to new jersey to help train new soldiers. i am visiting my mom for a month because i live with my dad now. if i don't get my account back by 7/31/08 then i wont be on for possibly four months if not more which will unfortunately give people plenty of time for someone to re-hack my account without me being able to do anything because i was away for more than a month

I was hacked on July 29th 2007. I filed a hacking report, but it's been over a year now and I still have not gotten my account back. The hacked account was called Sexbotz. Since I received no reply from the hacking report I sent, I PMed an omnimod who locked the account so the hacker would not have access to it. It still has not been retrieved for me. =(

I've made a lot of progress with my second account, but I still miss my old account.

I finally returned to Gaia after I was grounded for an extended period of time (my grades dropped, parents's rules) and found that my account had been banned. I was very upset and still am, as that was one of the main things I wanted to return to when I got back on Gaia Online. Apparently my brother went into my computer and found my text file with my username and password in it so I didn't forget, and copied it to sticky note. He says he didn't doanything, but my parents don't believe him. The only thing I can think of is that he did something stupid and got me banned, OR he gave away my password to some hacker or something, somehow. Well, my dad filed an inquiry to the Gaia Team under my email (since it's the email registered to the account), here it is.

from my son's, Cole's, email. It seems that while Cole was grounded from his
computer usage these past year or two his older brother Jacob went onto his
computer and opened the text file containing Cole's (iDeadly's) username and
password and copied them down onto a sticky note we found in his room. While
Jacob won't admit to what he did exactly, the account is now banned, and Cole is
very distraught. Gaia Online was one of the things we had used as a priveledge
that would be taken away if his grades dropped, and they did. He was greatly
looking forward to returning to Gaia, but is now unable to. Cole asked me if I
could type a formal unban request, as he wasn't sure if he would be able to
convince you of his innocence. It would be greatly appreciated if you would
Unban iDeadly so he may return to your community. With his recently acquired
job, Cole was looking forward to buying the new donation items and seeing some
new battle game that Gaia was apparently planning to implement, prior to Cole's
grounding. I would love to be able to tell my son that he can go back to
playing on Gaia Online.

I really thought I'd have my banned accounts back by now, but I guess there really is no hope, Gaia seems to be absolutely certain that I was botting. I have been told to stop making appeals and that the decision is final. Really I'm at my last thread of hope here. What happened? How can Gaia be so sure of my guilt if I didn't do it? What evidence are they relying on and how solid is it?

Yes I traded to my main a lot for a while, but I have years of trading in and out of my main, and even gave a list of trades proving that the trading was not one way. I have many accounts, but there is no rule saying how many accounts we can have. I did collect daily chance on more than one account daily to raise money, but I asked and am also told that does not break any rules. I was signed in on more than one account the day of my banning, but am also told THAT does not break any rules. Nor does trading the collected daily chance gold to my main break any rules.

But apparently this all adds up to me looking like a bot, but how can not breaking any rules, despite being suspicious looking, get me banned for botting? I have a long clean record, good attitude and behavior on the site, and bought for years all my sealed envelopes. I had no need to bot with the wealth I had saved up over the years. I could have simply sold one of my 04 letters I had saved for the single purpose of selling in the far future.

The only thing I can think of now was that I was apparently "moving faster than is possible for a human being" which is simply not true. If I was moving too fast they need to recalculate the speed a person who has grown up on computers and spends several hours a day on one can move, because it's pretty darn fast let me tell you.

I don't know what else I can do, I did not bot and I am desperate for my accounts back. It's not right to be banned for something I didn't do. I was a good member and a good person, this is not right and it's not fair. Why is Gaia being so bullheaded about this? Can they not fathom that they might have made a mistake?

I was hacked on Sunday. I took proper action and have settled myself in for the long haul back.
The original account name was ChikaBerry since 2003. When I tried to login and failed, I went the long way 'round with my mule, theelasticwaistband (the same account I filed my reports under) to find the account name changed to chika-berry. I check the profile of my old account religiously, as none of the equipped items, including Inari's Beads, have unequipped yet. I had PMd a mod about the possibility of revoking the trade pass to protect whatever I might have left. I was replied to that the account would be banned until my report was processed. That was done around 2 PM today. At 6:52 PM, the account was accessed again. My question:

Was this a mod accessing the account?
Was I lied to?
Who could reaccess after the account was banned.
