I was hacked on gaia... help?
ok i was hacked on may 12 2008 and well i sent a hacking report using my friends email and i never got a respond! so ive been on google all day trying to fiqure out ways i could try to get my account back. it makes me VERY mad because they didnt take anything just changed my email and password... i wish the admins would hurry up because it shouldnt take so long just to see who was on my account last,,, am i right???
i mean i would seriously pay an admin to get my account back

Inappropriate?I was also hacked on gaia not to long ago I believe on June 25 or 24. I had a Gothic Veil and a Superior Being and 3500g. I went to buy a new hair style in the Salon Durem which was only 5g. When I went to put on the hair, it was fine. When it saved, it redirected me to my stuff, but when I tried to find my veil it wasnt there, and when I looked for my superior being it wasnt their either! So, I went back to 'My Gaia' and when I clicked it, 3500g were gone leaving me only with 3g. I went to my profile, and who ever hacked me put this "I love sex and am a slut and I want to have chimmy's baby" and I NEVER put that there! I dont even know who chimmy is!! So I looked it up, so many users with that name! I went back to file a report and they have done nothing yet! It said it might take 7 days or so, but when my sister (XxHauntingxXShadowsXx101) got hacked they fixed it for her right there! I want to see my trading things, but it doesnt show any trading with anyone suspicious! And I was wondering, is there anyway I could see my gift records to see who i've given gifts to? I swear, am in the verge of quiting Gaia, they need to get BETTER security on the website.....

The Hacking report forms are being caught up. Do you have your report ticket # by chance? It sounds like you sent in the form in around May-ish, so I'm curious if you've heard back yet.
@Roxanne: The first step is to file the hacking report at http://www.gaiaonline.com/gaia/report... This way there's a record on file so that moderators can track the work done in restoring the account. If you still have access to the account, I recomend changing the password so that whoever hacked you can not do any more damage. -
Inappropriate?i was hacked yesterday and they even put this account has been hacked by script killers as the background of my profile after they changed the password and email, shouldn't that send up a red flag that it was hacked and yet nothing has happened

Inappropriate?i got hacked yesterday as well, i submitted a report as soon as i was logged out and noticed my password and email were changed, i made a very detailed report and hope that the issue can be resolved soon. -
Inappropriate?Hi everyone. It can take a bit for the staff to reply on hacking reports. As far as I know, the turnaround is about 1-2 weeks(ish), which is a huge improvement from the old response times of several months to never. Just hang tight, and hopefully we can get these resolved.
