Hello, My main account is torak317 was banned a few weeks ago. I ask the mod why my account was banned, They say i went to someone profile and accepet the trading. The person reported me for hacking.

I don't know how to hack at all. I have a 899k worth on my gaia avi. I really want my account back. I have send the gaia inquring.org for who reported hacking it and can u unbanned my account.

They told me it was a total loss and start over. I have wasted two years of my life on gaia, i do not want to start over. I want everything back. Please help me please help me

i want my torak317 back and i think if they dont' do anything about it. I WANT GAIA TO CLOSE

Why can't I go into towns and rally? Everytime I click on any link to towns or rally it keeps loading like forever...I've been having this problem since last month...PLS HELP!!!

I've been on Gaia for a year and two months now and my acc was hacked last week, I already filed a hacking report so Im here patiently (anxiously and terrifyingly) waiting for a respond.

Unfortunately for me the hacker changed my name,from "Tai la Mar" to "raM al iaT", they changed my password and my email and on top of that made my profile private and disabled Private messaging. Ive been checking constantly, using my dummy acc to see if they sold anything on the market place, made any posts after they took over my account or made any changes on my avi. Thats the only thing I can do right now

I have a lot of rare items on that account from the top of my head I know I have 5 Alruna Rose (one of which is a 1st Gen and the others 12th and 14th Gen ) a 2nd Gen Urn, 2 1st Gen Gimpi and numerous over fully evolved items,I also have a number of MC dating back to October of Last year to now some of which are unopened letters. I have a couple of zOMG! boxes and Fluff box and also a number of OMFG box which I have yet to open.I have all Gaia Artwork and a number of other stuff that I had to put in my storage because i had too much in my inventory and to top it all off I have over 76K in gold and 170 Gaia Cash.

I do have lots of proof as to the ownership of the account such as an online reciept that I got when I bought 5000 Gaia cash through paypal, I have snapshots of my inventory that I took in June when I had decided I was going to sell some of the cheaper items from my inventory (but I have bought other items since then and I still have links to the rps that I was in when I had that account, so if you guys need those I would be more than happy to pass it along.

I know it takes a while for you guys to sort through the other reports and stuff but i'm deathly afraid that by the time mine's show up the damage would already have been done.

Ok now for my question,
so how long does it take for you guys to re-instate the acc?
what happens to the person or persons who did the hacking?
will the account be deleted then the emails be banned from registering to gaia ever again?

On a side note I do think Gaia is the best thing (other than chocolate) that was ever invented so thank you for making it a beautiful place to hang out

Gaia online's owners are still acting like it's being run out of a garage, nothing works ... new things are added and stop working ... things that you pay for mess other things up. Gaia is pulling in a lot of money with the cash shop items. The owners are making mega bucks for poor service.

So here's what happened. I was trying to log into my gaia account, Revival of the Phoenix, and I received an error stating "unable to query users", so I tried again and it said I entered an incorrect password. Now, I'm sure I wans't hacked because the last activity on that account was made by me on August 27th 2008, at around 8am and in order for someone to hack me and change my password, they would have needed to log into the account. So I submitted a request (multiple, in fact) to have the account info e-mailed to me at the account's e-mail address. No e-mail was ever sent, even though the automated system (after clicking the "forgot login" button, and entering in the address) said it sent the e-mail. as proof that the account belongs to me, I have records of the paypal purchases I made on the account, so I'd like to know why no e-mail was sent..

Innocent friends banned for my stupidity

Two of my friends on Gaia, TheOceansTide and Ran-Kuhn, were apparently banned because of my stupidity. I had bought gold off-site, which I thought was OK (I have since learned the hard way that it is not). So, I bought them some gifts to be nice to them, and now they are banned.

They shouldn't have been, since they are completely innocent. They had absolutely no idea where I got the gold from. Is there a way to get them un-banned? This is not fair at all!

Ok so here is the deal My main Arcadia21 was banned because I went through a third party site. It said it was legit and etc. etc. and my weak minded folly is mine to wield. However I am banned permanently and I don't understand how one mistake can merit this especially since the message I got said that Gaia has the ability to reverse all transactions and the like. I did read the terms and service and I did not notice it in there but whatever I don't understand half of that anyways and I am 22. I have spent $192.50 on donation Items since I started playing in 2004/05 and this game was fun. I don't care if they take the Items I bought with the money from the third Party Site and whatever money I have left. I did make a mistake and I apologize but I have been banned for closing in on a year and I think I have learned my lesson over the course of these many months and I still think banning me forever for one discretion is a bit much.....
On another note if you read the part about going through 3rd party sites and doing so at your own risk take that to mean they will ban you forever so don't do it there are scammers everywhere.. Just a warning. So anyways thats my case if you lift the ban I play (which I would like to do) if you don't well then you don't and I won't play it probably doesn't matter to you I am sure but this is my last plea after playing on that character for three years or so I don't want to build up another one. So please have a heart and forgive my stupidity and At no point am I saying I wasn't in the wrong, I just think that my first and only (and last) mistake was buying 100,00 gold through a third party site... They just as easily could have said hey thats a no no and stopped it. Not saying I didn't deserve like some form of punishment but A permanent ban? Thats like going to jail forever for your first speeding ticket. Take the items I bought with the money back distribute them however you see fit I don't care it wasn't worth it. I spent 3 years of my life on this game, this game was my life, got me through high school, and almost 200 dollars on donations and I have learned my lesson, I think I should get a second chance is all I am saying.

Unfair banning due to credit card fraud of another user.

Back in 2005 I was wrongfully banned for "Credit Card Fraud". The problem isn't the fraud issue itself, it's the fact that another Gaia user bought me the monthly letters without even asking my consent. I believe it's unfair because anyone can just buy a person letters, charge back, and get that innocent user banned. This is exactly what I believe happened to me. I've tried many times to submit an inquiry, but haven't gotten more than an automated message back.

Gaia lets users just up and buy other users letters, no questions asked. All they have to do is type in the username on the payment form. I do not even know the person who bought me the letters, and I never even touched the letters to begin with. Is there any way the admins can just taken the letters off my account, and unban me? This is in no way my fault. This payment was clearly made under another account therefore I'm not responsible for what happened. Sorry if I sound like I'm repeating myself, I just want to explain clearly.

The account that got banned is Tinella.

i noticed my last post had major typos remind me never attempt to type at 3am ever again lol
anyways this is directed at dri
the botting system you all say you were working out the problems
if i was banned then all my friends that got gold from me would be banned to i was a kind hearted person donating my gold to people and they are still there you say i flagged over 489 times it was prolly because of the flaws in your system i never once used a bot and never will
i worked 2 hard long years to get where i was on my accounts
everything i had was on those accounts and now its gone because of something i didnt do
i heard you guys are fixing the botting problem now about time just funny how it happens after i get wrongfully banned because of a flawed system
and seriously i gave gold that i worked hard to get i gave it to my husband and alot of my friends and they still have there accounts so that should be enough proof if they are still there that i did not bot
yes i did sit in front of the puter 18 hours a day i am a cancer patient i have no life and gaia was my relief im not stupid enough to bot A

i sent a report and i havend heard anything from anyone

the person changed my email address and screen name it used to Be Ophelia Atwater
and they changed it to Oaned1
the friends list is still the same flyergurl (is my sister)
and katsura black is my rlf friend(though she's currently in south korea(army))

My account, elixir10, was wrongfully banned without warning nearly three months ago. I emailed Gaia on it, and they said that I was banned for botting. I replied by saying that I had never done it, yet I received another email saying that they "have carefully researched my account and found that it has been, indeed, banned for botting." However, I insist that I have done nothing of the sort. I replied pleading my innocence, and was subsequently ignored.

I cannot have been botting. I rarely ever fish or play games. I don't even have too many expensive items or whatnot; I think that the Four Horsemen was the most valuable thing I had on my avi back then. Mostly all I've done is posted poetry and critiques in the OP/L subforum, poetry no bot could have created. I made a few visits to the WG subforum, but thats about it.

I have already created a new account, but still, it'd be nice to have my account back.

password retrieval problem -
i recently changed my password and then forgot what i changed it to. i tried the 'forgot password' on the log in page but the email never came. i don't have a spam folder that it could get lost in. it's a comcast email account. what can i do to reset my password? help?
i can prove it's my account if need be....

*edit* i spoke to someone over at comcast today to see if maybe the problem was at their end. the person i talked to directed me to this blocked provider request form:

and said to have someone at gaia fill it out and submit it. they said it should fix the problem.

i have filled out a second 'customer service' form at gaia including the link comcast gave me (above). i still haven't heard from anyone at gaia on my first customer service form (it's been a week) and it's been 9 days since i filed this problem here. no word from either customer service or here.

please help?

I read almost all of your comments and answers in this site and I've learned alot about gaiaonline and its policies. you also seems to be a reasonable and a very smart person. I am not saying this to ask you for a favor or help because I got all the answers I need for my issues just by reading your comments and other people's issues here. But I have two questions for you:
1- where is the best place to post/discuss suggestions to developers on how to make gaia a safer place (from hackers and booters). Post them here, PM you, or some where in gaiaonline? I have few ideas that may make it very very hard to take someone else gold and items and easy to tell and investigate a boot. maybe you guys already look at them didn't they will help, but i want to put them on the table and see.

Thank you guys/girls for being here trying to help us all.
