Recently active problems in GameLayers

I can push the portal button on my toolbar and i can fill out the URL and title space, but when I go to create the portal I can't click the button. I also can't click the X button. I have to close the page or go somewhere else. I just started and I would really like to be able to create portals. :D

I'm having a few problems (mostly cosmetic) using the beta PMOG with firefox 3 (technically, a trunk build - user-agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008041610 Minefield/3.0pre ).

1) The wood background for the toolbar does not load. This is more than a trivium because it means the words on the toolbar are very hard to read since they're yellow on light gray.

1a) Changing the toolbar skin to "plain" and logging out and back in does nothing.

2) Various pages at pmog.com fail to detect that the extension is installed and thus display warning banners like "You must have the PMOG addon installed to take any Missions."

3) The portal animation locks up the entire browser. I'd like it to go faster or at least allow me to switch tabs while it's running (loading the new page in the backgrounded tab).

4) When the portal animation is done, there's a brief flash of the old page before the new one loads.

I'm not able to sign up for the beta, as the web page says "Whoa! That email has already been signed up". Yet, when I try to have the application send me my password, the only error message is "Please Try Again"

When Armor is turned off and I double click it 2 suits of armour are removed...

I was trying to install the PMOG addin. Upon installing the addin I got:

I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox with no luck.

When I take any mission (as of today), I cannot complete it. At some point during the mission, when I click to go to the next page, a Yellow mission box does pop up, but it is the same box as the first page, and clicking next starts the mission over.. and it goes in a loop. If I close the box and wander away from the site, it will keep on randomly popping up on an site to get me to continue the unending mission, causing me to restart firefox.

Editing Mission descriptions doesn't actually update the mission page text. The title won't change either. And the error message for having too many lightposts (over 20) is really vague.

I've got several issues with the mission light posts. Sometimes, I'll be going through a mission and the next lightpost just doesn't show up. I click the next button, and the next page loads, but I don't get the yellow lightpost popup after the page loads.No matter how many times I go back and forth between the pages it doesn't show up. This makes some missions undoable. My next issue is, although I'm not sure if something can be done about it, is that lightposts hide behind flash. For websites made mostly of flash this makes completing them difficult, if not nigh impossible. The third issue, its more of an annoyance really, is that lightpost popups follow the webpage's css coding. This gets annoying when the webpage uses white text. White text on a yellow background is very hard to read. I usually just click the next button, because the text is next to impossible to read.

Whenever I try to stash a crate, it says that I don't have any mines.. This is true, I don't have any mines, but that shouldn't affect dropping stashing crates. I get the same message when I try to deploy a mine (that I don't have). I can do portal, and lightposts no problems. It is only crates that I can't use.

I am trying to add the URL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Lu... to a mission; it lets me lightpost it from the toolbar, but I can't add that lightpost to a mission. I suspect this is because the URL contains a colon, and therefore that it would affect all Wikipedia system pages and Wikimedia/Commons pages as well.

At work, everything works fine (through a proxy, dodgy slow internet, etc., no problems with PMOG). At home, though, with a direct connection, and faster internet, the toolbar spends forever saying "Getting items for this page", and then changes to "There was an error parsing this page no tools will be available".

I can't, you know, play if there's no access to tools. I'm using Firefox3b5 in both locations.

Is it just coincidence that I came home and suddenly the PMOG servers went south, or is there a problem here at home that is fixable? Help please!

Why don't any missions work for me? There is only one (1) page and and as soon as it comes up it states "complete mission!" thus there is always a problem when i click it and i am unable to complete any mission whatsoever. This brings me back to the main "Missions" page whereupon, the process starts over again.

the pmog toolbar installed okay, but not seeing anything on screen to indicate where to go after the first page of a 'mission'. After cruising the FAQs, I uninstalled adblockplus to try to get something happening, but nothing's changed. I've got the old del.icio.us extension, using ff1.5 on fedora 6. Thoughts?

When I try to install the firefox addon, I get error -228. I am running the latest version of firefox 2 and Win XP Pro. HELP!

I cannot change my profile picture. I've tried uploading images of various resolutions, and it takes me to the "crop" page, but when I click on "crop", it takes me back to my own profile, and the pig/shoat image is still there!

If you run out of lightposts while creating a mission, there's no warning or anything, the buttons just stop working. It still says you have 1 remaining, but you really have zero, and you have to go buy some and reload the mission generation page to continue.

When you're testing a new mission, "read more" links in the lightposts do not work.

If the URL ends with an anchor (like #top) it seems like lightposts (and mission steps) won't work

Every time I go to a new page, the experience bar expands to the right until it pushes everything off the edge of the screen. I'm using Firefox 3.0b5 on a Mac.

I advanced to level 3 without creating a mission because I reached the DP required for for level 4.
