"Submit" button doesn't add comments - just refreshes the page.
I can't add comments to Jezebel. The text input box and "Submit" button all appear correctly. I enter text and hit "Submit", and the text under the input box says "Adding your comment".
However, it doesn't actually add any of my comments. It just refreshes the page.
If I try to refresh the page AFTER this happens, IE comes up with "This page cannot be refreshed without resending the information. Click "Retry" to send the information again." Comments were working fine on Jezebel earlier today, and plenty of others seem to be able to add comments. What gives?

Inappropriate?Seems like an IE problem. Can you please go to Tools > Internet Options > Delete Cookies and Delete Files > OK
and then go back to the site and hold Shift while clicking Refresh1 Comment Add a comment

Nope, this didn't work. I actually tried this before I even posted this comment, hoping it'd solve it, but no good. The site was working fine in IE earlier today. -
Inappropriate?I've tried Jezebel again this morning and I still can't post comments (and I tried deleting cookies last night, but made no difference).

Inappropriate?Same problem as before. Last night, when I had access to a machine with Firefox, I was able to make a few comments, but I don't have access to any browsers other than IE right now.
Yesterday, 11/12, the comment input field "disappeared" site-wide, and no one was able to make any comments. When the input field returned, I was unable to make any comments. As I said before, I've never had problems using IE on the site before now.
Would it help if I enabled script debugging and I copied and pasted the point at which the script breaks? I can't speak Javascript, but it might help you isolate the problem? I just don't see why forum software should be this buggy or difficult.

Inappropriate?Why are so may able to comment on stories while we can't?? And nobody commenting seems to know our plight. Look at the number of comments on the story header versus how many are displayed, we must be those missing numbers. Down since last night for me.........

Inappropriate?HI everyone, we put in a fix so you can comment again. But you all need to clear cache.
On IE, please go to Tools > Internet Options > Delete Cookies and Delete Files > OK
On Firefox, please go to Tools > Clear Private Data > check all boxes > Clear Private Data Now
and then shut down your browsers and restart. Let me know if you can login and comment again after that.1 Comment Add a comment

Not entirely. Some threads work and some don't. It seems that if there's a grey "brushed-metal" look to the sidebar, the submit button is grey too and doesn't work:
