Comment Approval Button has Gone Missing
The comment approval button disappeared sometime yesterday and now suddenly, I can't approve pink comments out of limbo. And if I reply to an unapproved comment, not only does the unapproved stay pink, but I'm unable to promote my own reply to the front page.
My commenter status appears intact and I can promote approved comments. It's just that I've been unable to approve any pink comments for at least a day and though I haven't looked, I don't think I've seen any other "approved by" notations during this same timeframe.

Inappropriate?Um... Someone just approved a pink comment in a thread, I had been watching and though I've looked in both IE and Chrome and have used it in the past, I seem to have lost the ability to approve comments or I'm experiencing some kind of software glitch.
If someone decided to take away my approval powers, I'm not going to complain and I've appreciated the privilege, but I wish there had been some kind of notification.
Hopefully, I haven't abused the "power" with the eight or ten comments that I've approved over the past month or so and deep down, I really hope it's a software issue, but it's been kind of frustrating to see people reply to me and not be able to answer.

Inappropriate?Correction to my original query (and a bump); I was under the impression that I couldn't promote my own response to a pink comment, but I've since learned that though the thing flashes "operation failed", it actually works.
And, if it's of any use -- The "approved" pink comment that I referenced in my second post was actually on Jezebel. I generally spend all of my time on Gawker and I'm still not seeing "approved by" messages, I still can't approve any pink comments and others have mentioned the "problem" too.
Again, it's really frustrating to see a pink comment that should be approved and it's doubly frustrating, if the pink is in reply to something that I said.
