Comments dev progress going backwards!!!
Good grief, whoever is messing with the comments code on (Gizmodo, Kotaku, and Lifehacker) please stop! They were working perfectly a month ago. Now when you expand a thread it takes you to the top of the page, you can't reply to anyone using the reply icon, and when you view the post out of your profile it no longer takes you to the post. What happened?!?!?!

Inappropriate?I have this problem too. For gods' sakes, Gawker Tech, could you pick one code release that WORKS and then stop messing with it? I understand that you need to make updates and enhancements, but can you do so after testing, and without disrupting your existing services?

Inappropriate?Looks to be getting worse. This poor code has made it over to Gawker (proper) and to Jalopnik now.
Guess which one still works though? Consumerist. but the reason it still works is that its no longer a Gawker media site and is not getting these screwed up comment code updates.
I’m thinking of giving up Gawker if they can't hire competent coders.

Inappropriate?It's getting worse still. If I use Firefox I no longer see the "profile" button. But if I view the page in IE, its there.
Consumerist still has none of these problems.
Who the hell is writing your code Gawker? Make them stop.
