It looks like the account Beaumar is still pending in the audition phase. Your comments will not appear immediately until a moderator has approved the account to comment without review. I would recommend continuing to comment to give them more comments to review. Moderators like to have several comments to look at.

Inappropriate?The account Frizzaldo is enabled to comment. Is that the account you're logged into? What you're describing sounds like an account that is still auditioning for commenting privileges, but the Frizzaldo account already has those privileges assigned.

Tried commenting a number of times anonymously but they were never posted (and they were high-larious, too, so it's kind of a tragedy to mankind). Went ahead and registered an account (Beaumar) so I could finally get through. Still no go. Frustrating to see so many fun and interesting articles and not be able to weigh in...

Inappropriate?My account on gizmodo seems to have passsed the aproval process since it no longuer says on my profile that I need to pass an audition.
However, my coments still do no apear. I only seem to be able to succesfully comment on lifehacker. Keep in mind that I am aproved on both sites.

Inappropriate?Mines working now. I'd say it takes about 3 weeks of posting before they let you in properly. Be patient ( I know it's annoying ) people, it will happen.

The account sadohert is in the audition phase, but I don't see any comments having been made. When logged into the account, you should see a comment box at the bottom of each article where you can comment.

I can comment now. There was no comment box when I first created my account, but it was there as of this morning.
