My profile says I'm still "auditioning," but my comments show up when promoted?

My profile says I'm in the audition phase for commenting, but my comments have been showing up on Kotaku when they've been promoted as if they've been posted. What's going on? With auditioning, does Kotaku still publish the comments? My username on Kotaku is Sylfi.
