Please add an "oldest first" option to the new commenting system.
The "newest first" commenting system is difficult to navigate. Please enable an option to sort in the chronological order that the user prefers. This user prefers oldest first. Please?

Inappropriate?Having to scroll to the top of each conversation in a thread, then read down and have to scroll back up to he next chronological conversation makes it very hard to follow and keep track of where you are reading.

Inappropriate?This, and it would be great if the option to view all comments instead of just featured comments were at the top of the comment section as well as its current sole spot at the bottom of the page.

Inappropriate?The POSTS are already in descending chronological order - the comments should have the option to go either way. I think (on Deadspin certainly) the quick wit should be rewarded by having top placement, not the latest comment, usually made in a drunken stupor at 3am

Inappropriate?You do have the option to view comments in reverse chronological order. On your profile, under "Settings", choose the "Oldest comments first" option and click "Save".
