Text box ate my comment.

I was in the process of typing up a rather long response to a Kotaku article, and the text box ate my comment. Twice. I re-typed the whole thing, thinking it was simply my fault for accidentally clicking "cancel" or some such, but again the same thing happened: all the text in the box up and disappeared for no apparent reason. I tried pasting it back into the box, as I've learned from experience to always copy any lengthy reply for just this reason, but what I copied wasn't even on my clipboard anymore.

The problem seemed to follow directly after the page flickered, looking like a timed refresh of some sort. If it isn't an issue with the page itself, the only thing I can think of is that I'm still in the auditioning phase, and have been for a month or two now (account name: Natural-Born-Chaos). Perhaps that's part of it?
