User control of cycling ad display needed!
You may not think the following is a serious question/problem but actually it is. I usually do what most people do with online ads - ignore them. But occasionally I'll see one that's so interesting I just have to click the link to see what it's all about. The problem arises when it turns out to be an ad alternating with many others in the same space and I (for whatever reason) click on something else on that webpage. I'm taken away somewhere else and when I return to that page I find a different ad in its place with no way to get back to the interesting one I should have clicked on first. This is not the first time this has happened to me (I know, I should know better) and I'm sure it's happened to many others, too. There really ought to be a way to cycle through the ads on any particular webpage so you can see each one. Maybe a button on the page that would take you to a page listing all of the ads on that page by themselves? I'm sure each website's owner(s) wouldn't mind giving their viewers greater access to their ads. Don'tcha think?

Inappropriate? That's an interesting idea, sort of an ad gallery! I agree it would be neat to see all of the ads running on a site at once.
However, the ads are meant to be matched to editorial content and serve at specified intervals and targets. Pulling them off the editorial pages and into an on-demand ad gallery would interrupt the intended reader experience of advertising -- as well as the advertisers' expectations of their media plans.
So if you do see an ad you like, be sure to check it out when you first see it!
