Why are my comments "not enabled"?
Signed up for an account for Gizmodo a few days ago and was told my account needed approval by posting something "of value", now it says "comments are not enabled for this account." I'm sure I'd followed the allowed rules, so why was I denied the ability to comment? Junsu is my account name.

I was never approved. I was told to post something(s) of value in order to be approved. What I did was exactly that, writing a couple of reply's to a few threads that I thought gave insight into what I considered insightful/interesting. My comments never showed up on the official page so providing a link would be moot. What I do remember is writing a reply to the topic of the Microsoft Surface and it's uses in a car dealership (BMW). None of my comments were rude nor were they offensive. -

Inappropriate?Same here. Was never approved. This system is confusing. It is almost like you are banned at sign up and you have to beg to make you first comment. Strange thing was that I was able to sign in with Facebook Connect and not my original Gawker account. I would like to merge the two. Someone needs to fix this. Or at least my account.

Inappropriate?It is annoying if you cannot get to be a permanent commenter to see some others who have been approved, write things which are rude, offensive or simply banal or worst of all spam!
