why won't comments load on gawker and jezebel?
The comments lately are constantly just showing as "loading" - this happens frequently on Gawker and Jezebel

Inappropriate?Know what? Since I'm not a big fan of futility I haven't even checked out Gawker or Jezebel since my last post here - I'm still getting "Get Satisfaction: new reply to your post" emails so I see no one's "getting satisfaction" and no one at Tech seem to be doing much of anything.
What I do find astounding is that the site not only doesn't seem to care about old readership getting pissed and leaving and finding better things to do, it hasn't occured to them that not a lot of new readership will ever be attracted if they're not able to open a page and easily access the site topics - let alone the comments - either. Someone at another blog I read posted a URL for a topic here, which was followed by a flurry of "link not working" "site not working" comments. Watching someone commit slow suicide is never pretty - Jez used to be the first site I'd go to every day, the writers and editors seemed to have so much on the ball. Which is why the blinkered and ham-fisted decisions made since early July to keep on a course like this have been all the more surprising.

Inappropriate?Thought I'd bump this up because it still applies to me. How long has this problem been going on? Have we received any help beyond "clear your cache, disable ad-block"? Unbeleivable.

Inappropriate?comments aren't loading again on Jezebel or Gawker. it's also not showing my profile or the login button. it worked fine last week.
I’m frustrated that these problems continue.

Inappropriate?Why don't any of the gawker sites (Jalopnik, Gizmodo, etc) load on any of my machines using multiple browsers? - Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE etc...
It just says - "Failed to load comments, please try again later"
Is the gawker comment site being blocked by a large number of ISPs?
I’m about to unsubscribe from the affected RSS feeds....

Inappropriate?Oddly enough they won't load for me either when using Chrome or Mozilla but will when I use Explorer (which I can't stand).
I’m more confused than amused.

Inappropriate?I'm unable to read comments either, which is frustrating because I'm receiving replies and I'm unable to read them! When the comments do manage to load-by some miracle, I'm unable to read comments past the jump. I can only access the first page of commentary :o(

Inappropriate?I am never able to post on Gizmodo or LifeHacker. Tried with my registered accounts and even guest accounts. Being trying this for months now. No success. Not a single comment appeared. Just yesterday tried to post comment on google wave invitation thread. Same result again. Reading these blogs for years now and like the stuff but I think I should give up as I can't participate in the discussions.

I've never not seen that message. Did their web developer go missing? Shouldn't we organize a search party?!? Does anybody have a photo of him/her?
