Sometimes I'm unable to deal with a pad right after a diaper change and end up with two that need to be flushed. For the purpose of conserving water, is it safe/recommended to flush two pads at the same time?
(of course if a pad is poopy I find a way to deal with it immediately. :)
There's some quilting and a bit of blue in the corner on one side of the pads. I've been putting them in the snap in liners with this side up. Is that correct?
I found out about this product through MomHub which also has a site here on Satisfaction. Then found that my friend, Maggie, had recently blogged about gDiapers. After reading her blog post and getting a follow up personal testimonial from her I decided I'd give them a shot. I always had a little guilt for going the disposable route with my son when he was a baby. With number two arriving around the corner I was still not sold on the hassle of cloth. And wasn't totally sold on the benefits -- all that laundry! But gDiapers seem like a happy medium. There's a little bit of laundry involved but the rest is biodegradable and can either be flushed down the toilet or, if you're lucky enough to live in a city like San Francisco, put out in the green can for compost pick up!
So I ordered a starter pack. Fingers crossed that they work for us.
