Are all GE microwaves defective?
My first new GE microwave sounded like it falling apart. It was extremely noisy with rattles and grinding noises. GE replaced it. The replacement unit has the same problems only worse. We are fed up. We want our money back. GE customer service is rude and unresponsive. Has anyone else had this problem?

Inappropriate?We bought a GE 1.1cf Ge Microwave, it worked great for the first 4 weeks, and then just stopped, not extra noise, then we replace it thinking it must have been a flute the 2nd one only worked when it wanted to , we will be taking that back on Saturday and not buying another one we will buy another brand this time -
Inappropriate?So it isn't just us. We had a GE microwave for 9 years that worked great until it kept running with the door open. So we bought a new GE, but the face of the framing was peeling off. We returned it for the same 1.6 cf model JES1651 but it stopped heating food after a few weeks. I guess we are off to research other brands too!

Inappropriate?We went thru two new GE microwaves (One we bought and one the GE replaced it with. Both made so much mechanical noise that we couldn't hold a conversation when they were runnihg. The we bough a new LG. The turntable in it wouldn't turn. hen, we found a basic whirlpool over the range microwave and it works fine and is very guiet. You have to hang in there Noybi, but it is possible to find something that works. -
Inappropriate?Just tried to thaw some ground beef. Entered the weight, pushed the start button and the thing just died. No light working inside, panel not working but viola, oven works fine. DON'T BUY GE PRODUCTS THEY SUCK. Our dishwasher was replaced after a lenghthy warranty dispute and our downdraft crashed into the counter-top.

Dishwasher - heater didn't turn-off cooking entire washer and contents, we demanded new one, they "fixed" existing, second go it cooked again, GE finally replaced it, nothing to report since March.
Oven/microwave combo - microwave died month ago, warranty on parts (main tube), worked for 1 week, died again tonight....
Fridge-nothing to report....yet!!!

Inappropriate?I have microwave GE adora it did work for I would say 6m and then quit, call customer service and there is a fee for them to come your place if you don’t want to pay this fee 90 $ then you have to take to them but GE won’t tell you where to take they send you to the phone book. Six months for 450$ (microwave) that is too much money for too little time. Customer service horrible I never buy GE ever again ft.
