We've built Sparkle IM with portability inn mind, and it is possible to port it to Android, but we are not yet sure if the market is big enough in the Android store to support the effort. We'll definitely keep it in mind though!

Inappropriate?With at least 4 current android ohones in the market notably HTC saphire which has pressed beyond one million units and the HTC dream which has pressed well beyond that combined with future handsets due to come out this year on varios networks including a few handsets done by Motorola geared more towards teens as well as free handset w/ 2 year contract type deals for these phones shows an extremely budding marketplace, I understand the fracturing of devices and specs vs. the one platform iphone offers currently may be a bit duanting but if jumped on early before it becomes too divided these apperhensions can be quite managed.

Inappropriate?Well i must make a confession, i am bying now an Iphone simply because this is the first mobile application that is able to do what i want, mobile Second Life!
I was wanting to buy the HTC-Hero device instead O.o but anyway, Android is really nibbling market share from other parties.. -
