Proxy Error
I'm getting an error when uploading a shapefile with a custom projection. I uploaded the .shp, .dbf, .shx and .prj files, but got a Proxy Error. Is this an issue with the files, or the server configuration?

Inappropriate?Hi Josh,
Thanks for letting us know about your problem. The easiest way for us to help you out will be for you to send us your files for us to test and take a look at. Please send an email to me at kevin@fortiusone.com with the 4 files attached. I can then test them out, see what problems are occurring, and hopefully find a solution for you.
Thanks again,

Inappropriate?Josh,
We were able to solve the issue with your shapefile. Please try uploading into Finder! at http://finder.geocommons.com to see the correct and appropriate results.
Thanks, Kevin -
Inappropriate?I can now upload the file, and the KML output looks correct. However, when I try and use it in MapMaker, the page hangs after "parsing data." It seems the request to "http://core.geocommons.com/permissions/check?item%5Fid=null&item%5Fcontroller=overlays&item%5Faction=calculate" comes back HTTP 401 unauthorized.
Is there some latent permission error? Check out overlay id 16266. -

Thanks for letting us know about your problem. We have notified our engineers and they are now looking for a solution to the problem. We hope to have a solution soon. -
Inappropriate?Hi Josh, I can recommend trying the repair microsoft sql server error: 824 program that automatically eliminates dbf errors. It is a good solution, if you experience any difficulties with dbx files. Hope this helps
