Uploading file from my computer so I could download it into Google Earth Pro
I am very new to this website. I created data from the listed web page http://www.ga.gov.au/renewable/gmaps/... and managed to upload the whole file on my computer but when tried to download/open it into Google Earth Pro it didn't work. I can see that user:Brendan has very interesting links and I have used overlay to download operating plants but now need proposed file. Can anybody advise me or help!? Thank you Natasha

Inappropriate?Hi Natasha, if you were able to upload the file into Finder then it should be ready to download the file from the dataset profile or directly from the search results. I have uploaded the dataset here: http://finder.geocommons.com/overlays... and the KML worked for me in Google earth.
If you make a map in Maker! then you can also download the stylized KML to show the proportional symbols for the dataset. after you've made and saved a map, click the details button in the top right, then download the KML from there.
here is a maker map i made with the data:http://maker.geocommons.com/maps/8467
and a link to the stylized KML:
http://maker.geocommons.com/maps/8467...
let me know if this helps.
Cheers
