Add character counter to product entry screen
When adding a description for products, There is a 512 character limit. If you exceed the limit, you have to type all the product information in again after the page refresh. Could you please either:
add a character counter, validate input wth javascript before page refresh, or save the info i typed on the next page...it's a little bit annoying, but only because i have high expectations. The rest of GetSatisfaction works great:)

Inappropriate?Thanks for reporting this. I wasn't aware of this detail, but I'll check with the dev team and see if this is something we can change. A character counter might be the best way to do it.

Inappropriate?A character counter is great, but the worst part of the process is that you have to type the description again if you exceed the limit. So get the order right: first a useful error message with description retention, then a character counter.
The input area is so big that I think that lots of people are exceeding the limit.

Inappropriate?Imho this is a valid problem (definitely an annoyance!) that I think is easily addressed - but still wondering why GS hasn't changed it yet.
