Ability for Official Reps to pick which products they are reps for
I for one am tired of getting a ton of e-mails on Ubiquity that I just plain can't help with. Mozilla decided to recognize Get Satisfaction yesterday (see "Get Help, Make Suggestions, or Write Documentation to Help Others" on Introducing Ubiquity) and all the posts are about Ubiquity, which I'm sure the team of new Offiical Reps that Aza added for it can help with. It would be nice if I could say, I may be an official rep, but don't send me e-mails about new topics/comments/replies that are for the Ubiquity product.
Even if you set it up so that if it's only Ubiquity, it doesn't come to me, but if it has Firefox too, it does, that'll work fine (most of them don't mark Firefox too as a product).
Thanks for helping me conquer the deluge of e-mails.

The company has this in progress.

Inappropriate?Yes! Absolutely. This is a direction we're now headed in. If you look on a particular product page, like for example the Ubiquity page, you'll see that we've added an "Actually, I work on this product" link, which employees can use to associate themselves with specific products.

Coming up next, we're going to more clearly indicate which products an employee of a particular company has associated themselves with, so that we can make it clear where your expertise lies.
Working on that at present.
In the meantime, I'd recommend getting someone from Ubiquity in here. :) -
Whoops. Just saw that they are already on here. But this is a good opportunity for me to add that one of the things we want to do in the near future is allow you to only get email about the products you have explicitly stated that you work on. -
That last sentence is what this was all about, and yes, I will try to convince them to indicate they do work on that product. (Unfortunately, that's kind of confusing, because I don't work on Firefox however I can help support it...) -
Inappropriate? An additional 'in the meantime' recommendation:
Use something like Yahoo Pipes to marry the RSS feeds pertaining to the products you care about into a single feed, then use that feed as your list to check for new content. -
I found the RSS feeds for products I care about, but those are only new threads, they don't include replies too like the main RSS feed for the company does
