Add free option to plans comparison page
Why doesn't your pricing page (http://getsatisfaction.com/pricing) include the free option for comparison? I'd really like to see how that shapes up against the paid options.

Inappropriate?I've heard other people voice this same suggestion, and I think that we will redo that page at some point in the manner that you propose. We include details for the free plan underneath the chart, but it could probably be more clear.

Inappropriate? Thanks, Eric. I did see the box underneath, but it really doesn't provide enough info for comparison. For example...
- Does it include "All Core Features", "Champions", and "Topic Management Tools?"
- How many Unique Customers per month does the free service allow?
- Is any technical support included?
-
Inappropriate?Yes, I agree that this is unclear.
-
Inappropriate? This topic lists out the details about the free package

Inappropriate? Thanks to you both, Eric and Amy. That post you linked only rehashes the summary on the pricing page. Can you answer the 3 bullets I listed above?
-
Inappropriate?Hi Frank,
Actually, my reply in that topic goes into quite a bit more detail than the info on the pricing page. Where I say "Specifically, you can..." which covers all the features in the free service -- the core features.
To answer your bullets, it does not include Champions or Topic Management Tools; those are part of the Basic package. There's not really a hard limit on unique customers/month. If you get up over 10,000 we may want to talk, but there won't be any automatic shut off.
In terms of technical support, there is not official technical support with the free service per se, but there are also not a lot of technical implications involved in the free service. We do our best to answer questions and provide help here in our Get Satisfaction support community as you can see by poking around. We're also very responsive via email. Did you have something specific in mind with regard to technical support?
-
Inappropriate?Yes there was more detail, but it wasn't answering my questions, so figured I'd cut to the chase. My apologies if it came off terse, that was not my intention.
Anyway, your follow-up answered my questions adequately. I am bootstrapping a new web service and an additional $99/mo does not factor into my monthly budget, so I wanted to see if the free version would meet my needs. I appreciate all the help, and the super-fast response time!
I’m thankful
