Adding a topic - data loss when hitting the enter key when in feelings field.

When you say it appears gone, where do you end up? Not on the topic?

I just tried to replicate with the same config, but I wasn't able to do it.

I'm trying to replicate it as well. My configuration is a tad different than yours adn Eric's -- I'm on Mac OS X 10.4 .11 and tried it with my Safari version 3.1.2.

I put text in the details & title fields, clicked a face, added text to the feelings field, hit the enter/return key and my topic posted with all data in place. Now I'm not sure if it should be submitting at that point (I'll talk to our dev team about that) but the topic submission was definitely there.

Any additional info you can give us would be helpful. Thanks!

I think I may have figured this out. When you submitted that topic, were you logged in?

Yes Eric, you're right, I was NOT logged in when I experienced the problem. I hadn't realised I was not logged in, nothing prompted me to log in or anything.

It is quite an annoying issue as I thought my new topic must have been created, as I was not shown any error. Being new to getsatisfaction I thought it was perhaps off being moderated :-)
