Admin How To: Adding and editing Products and Services
The Products & Services page of the Admin section is where an admin can manage their products and services. You can add products, edit & delete products and set a default product.
You can add a default (or primary) product or service to your Get Satisfaction site. This is best applied to companies who have one product or service or a primary product or service that you'd want most topics associated with. Once set, this product or service will be automatically attached to all topic posts unless removed on a per topic basis.
To set a primary product or service, be sure it's in your list then click the "Set a default product" button. Then select the product that you want to set as your primary product.
If your company has several products or services it may not make sense for you to set a primary one.
You can also view, add and edit products and services outside the Admin section. Just click on the "Products & Services" tab at the top:
If you're a registered employee of your company on Get Satisfaction you can edit a product or service by clicking on the product. This will take you to a list of topics about that product with a button in the right column to edit:

Inappropriate?Some of our customers don't assign the right product to their question (they usually insert the default one). I may add the correct product but not remove the wrong one: why?

Inappropriate?Giuseppe: In the past, we didn't allow anyone to edit products, but we now let admins take care of their own product curation. So, admins can delete products. But, if a product has a lot of topics associated with it, you can't delete it. We keep that as a fail-safe so folks don't accidentally delete a product that might have, say, 100 topics associated with it.
But, I can delete any product, so call on me to take care of any of these details, too. Happy to help. I'll dig around your company's products and do some gardening. Our product curation admittedly still needs some work, so thanks for your patience as we develop it.

Hey, Stacia. If you want to use Get Satisfaction widgets on your site, let us know if you have questions about how they work. If you want to put your own widgets on our site, I don't believe we can host widgets. But, I don't want to assume too much. Can you explain a little more for us? Thanks! -
Inappropriate?On our company's page we have modified our products & services from five to one. The number in the tab didn't change automatically from five to one (so it still shows 5 products & services instead of just one) so the question is, how can we change it?
