Auto suggest feature in search box

I regularly use forums (say google groups or java.net), I do have the habit of searching before posting. I see getstatisfication as a forum in one way so I feel auto suggest feature will be helpful in searching and avoid duplicates topics.

Though auto suggest available in creating a topic, I do prefer a search for solution or idea or ... if not present I will create a new topic i don't prefer distraction while creating a topic.

One more thing. Search box in getstatisfication is like search box for contact rather than search box for a topic. It'll be better if box i little big to hold a full topic title

I want to add one more point.

Auto suggest feature while creating a topic can be improved for following reasons,

1. We cannot expect an user to give a title which fully describe the problem/idea.
2. Even if there is a great a title which fully conveys the message, we cannot confirm a topic without reading the content that topic
3. There might me more than one relevant topic

So because of this now we have to click on each related topic then read go back and type back the same message click on next relevant topic.

So it's will be great if there is snippet of the message with the title. One great example is Google Group, while creating a message we'll be presented with the autosuggestion with a snippet of message.
