By default, redirect to dashboard instead of home page after signing in
Current behavior: I go to getsatisfaction.com. I login. I'm redirected back to the home page (the one with the dark blue background and the "People-Powered Customer Service" header)
Preferred behavior: I get redirected to my dashboard.
Reason 1: Saves me a click.
Reason 2: I normally go to getsatisfaction.com via the feedback widget on another service's page and never see the front page. One day, I wanted to go straight to getsatisfaction.com directly and see if someone had responded to my feedback. After logging in and being redirected back to the home page, I was a little baffled at what to do next. It took a few seconds for me to realize that I could navigate to my dashboard via the dropdown box in the top menu. That's a few seconds of confusion too many.
Related: There should be a separate dashboard link in the top nav bar. It's not intuitive (to me at least) that the dashboard should live in the dropdown box next to my name. I usually associate that with things like user-preferences and profiles, not a "home" screen.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the input, Andrew. I agree that the dashboard should become a user's "home" page.

Inappropriate? Both of these points are great. We used to have a "You" link in the header. Maybe we should bring it back? Not sure. I think that once we improve the dashboard a bit we will definitely want to take you there when you log in.
-
Inappropriate?Related to that: not only immediately after logging in should we be redirected to the dashboard, also when we're not *on* getsatisfaction but have cookies that keep us authenticating, hitting the getsatisfaction.com url should take us straight to the dashboard.

Inappropriate?Excellent point. I definitely like that idea, Helder.

Inappropriate?Yes ! I like that Idea .
How about the Idividual account for every company?
I mean that If a User of twiiter community signed in he should view the contents related to twitter Only.He could be able to jump into other company 's dashboard if he likes. Thus every company should have a different account page and it's user page.
2)The user's Profile should say that where he joined ,what companies he is having , for what companies and products he is working for.
