I'd like to use a custom CSS file to customize the look and feel of the feedback widget. Can I do that?

Hi Andrew,
Great question! You can customize the look and feel of the tab (if you're willing to go into the code and tweak the styles yourself). But at this time, you can't change the look and feel of the actual widget itself. It's definitely in our road map to give people the option of doing this, but at this time I don't have an ETA for you. Thanks so much for the idea.

Inappropriate?Follow up question - can I hack the javascript to have my own Get Feedback button? I'm going to have my engineering team give it a try...

Inappropriate?Hi Andrew.
The answer is yes! Let us know how it goes.

Inappropriate?Go to http://www.mixbook.com. Register or Login. The Feedback widget is on every page. We did not put it for non-logged in users for two reasons:
1) it can decrease conversion rate to signup/try a demo/etc
2) most of our good feedback comes from users who have already signed up anyway
I’m pretty happy with the widget so far

Inappropriate?oh - we did not customize the look of it yet. The main reason I wanted to was because I think it stands out too much and would hurt landing page conversion. Solution: don't put it on landing pages. :)

Inappropriate? Now you can customize the placement and color of the feedback tab!

Inappropriate?I think it'd be even more stupendous to have the Feedback widget copy say something like "Ask a question ON Get Satisfaction" vs "Ask a question about Get Satisfaction." Heck, if we could be able to customize it a bit, I'd love it to say "Ask MATRIX INTEGRATED a question ON Get Satisfaction." That way it'd be much more personable for our clients.
Here's my thinking...with the Feedback tab on our site, those who may not know about the fantasticism of Get Satisfaction may be a bit perplexed by what this "Feedback" tab is for and just what exactly GetSatisfaction is. However, if we all could make it a bit more customized as I mentioned above, then it'd be a smoother seque into our clients becoming active users of GetSatisfaction.com, and using our .

Inappropriate?Actually, if you get the code from the Widgets page, it should list your company's name in this space. Did you get the code from this page: http://getsatisfaction.com/widgets
Here's an example of a company using it. It lists their name on the widget: http://giveatangetatan.com/locations.php

Whoops, I didn't see "Change Company" above. Got it fixed now, thx.
However, I'd still love to customize the text more as it defaults to "Ask a question about Matrix Integrated." I'd rather be able to make it say ""Ask MATRIX INTEGRATED a question ON Get Satisfaction." Again, that'd be a clear seque into your site as well.
LMK if this is possible (or a possibility down the road).
Thanks!
