Can no longer sign in via Windows Live
My getsatisfaction account is tied to my windows live account. With the new changes you made to the logging in screen, I can no longer log in to my account.
(luckily I have another e-mail address and could temporarily make a second account, not tied to windows live)
I click on log in, then click on the windows icon tab, then click on login with windows live. This takes me to the normal window where I type in my password and such. And then comes a new screen saying "allow access to login.getsatisfaction.com". The problem is, clicking "allow access" does nothing... it just takes me back to the same exact page I'm already on.
I have tried this on both Safari and Firefox, and also on both Mac and Windows computers.

Inappropriate?Just thought I'd give some updates:
So if I click on the thingy to import my contacts, it will go on... even though I was under the impression that was supposed to be optional...
But then I'm still stuck anyway, because the thing here now asks for my e-mail address... if I just type it in, it does nothing... if I click that I have an existing profile,( which is kinda true... through windows live anyway,) it asks for a password... but the only password I've ever entered was through windows live itself... so even if I try that one, it still does nothing... and either way, it really gives me absolutely no feedback as to why it's not working.
So it's really messed up now... and I can't manage to get into my normal profile. -
Inappropriate?I just checked, and it appears that your original account is not tied to Windows LiveID, but is a regular account with the email you signed up with. You should be able to login with the standard GetSatisfaction login page. If you don't have a password you can just click Forgot Password, and it will send you instructions for resetting.
We're still going to fix the underlying issue you've described, but you should be able to access your account in the meantime. Feel free to contact me directly at thor at getsatisfaction.com for more help. -
Inappropriate?Thank you!
That's odd though... with the old log in system, I would always go to windows live to sign in... how is it not connected to that? lol
Oh well, back to normal :) -
Inappropriate? We did a big update to our login system, as you've seen, and it's possible that the linkage was broken when you tried to connect anew. I'm still investigating, though I'm glad to hear you've made it in successfully!

Inappropriate?I can also no longer use my Windows Live account - which is what I actually used to create the account in the first place. Now all I get is messages on your system saying that Windows did not pass you my email address. I put the address you, you send me some code with nowhere to put it!
Looks like you have royally messed up because now I need to remember a log in to get access where as before I could just use my Windows Live account. What have you done?!
I’m annoyed you have messed up the log in system.

Inappropriate?Hi Mark,
Actually we mostly fixed things, but there is a glitch in the transition for previous users of OpenID/WindowsLiveID. It will work much better now once we get you past this stage:
Simply click login, then hit forgot password. Add the email address that you associated with the windows liveid account you previous created. Follow instructions sent in email. Once you're in, henceforth you'll be able to login with one-click.
Apologies for the momentary hassle!
