Oh boy...
We're rolling out a ton of updates and features on a daily basis. With this comes (obviously) a lot of changes to the code. In this case the culprit was an errant comma in the JS that was introduced a couple days ago by someone (not Cameron... I just like to pin things on him because I think it's funny) :)
I take responsibility for this one because I am in charge of browser testing. If only there were some good debugging tools for Safari I would start using it as my primary browser.
Thanks a lot ryan!
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I also can't follow a topic. Maybe you guys should test your javascript on something besides FireFox (/me looks at Teddy).
-
Inappropriate?Hey ryan. I understand your frustration. We are doing a lot of cross-browser testing and development but you know, we're in private beta and stuff, so stuff like this is bound to happen. It's probably a simple fix that will go out with the next deploy.
Thanks for notifying us!
p.s. But we can spank Ted if you want.
I’m happy

Inappropriate? Thanks Amy. I'm told that (by Ted) that it was actually Cameron's fault. I'm not sure who's to blame, but whoever it is, I don't think they should get a cupcake today.
p.s. you should add a "just kidding" face to the feelings -
Inappropriate?Cupcakes will be withheld from them both. For the bug and the tattle-taling. *Sigh*
As for the "just kidding" face. We've got quite a passionate conversation going on about emoticons over here.
I’m sad

Inappropriate? For Javascript debugging you should try Drosera- http://webkit.org/blog/?p=61 .
-
Inappropriate?Fixed!
-
Inappropriate?I use Drosera. Maybe I'm just spoiled by firebugs awesomeness, but Drosera is slow as hell.

Inappropriate? Can login and post from Safari BUT still can't sign up (no cursor in fields in the form -- weird). Good luck!
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? Thanks much for the notification. We're working on it as I type.
-
Inappropriate?Thank you!
You've uncovered something bigger than just the sign up page. I give you a gold star... if I could. How about I just fix it?

Inappropriate? The auto expanding comment box does not get bigger in Safari 2.0.4 (419.3)

Inappropriate?Thanks meta,
This feature was thrown together pretty quickly. I plan on refactoring the code soon.
I’m thankful
