Hi. You can always close your account, as we note here: http://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfa...
I don't see any real name, just a nickname, but I've gone ahead and tried to randomize your account so you'll simply be known as "someone." I've also closed your account for you. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Understood. Does it dis-associate our comments/replies with our real name (i.e. Google Search results)? -
Inappropriate? This is the problem I've been having - in that when you close the account, your old profile history still stores your personal details for public display in all their glory, for it appears to be forever.
-
Inappropriate? So if you ever (even advertantly) posted under your own name, even if you close your account and change your nickname, the old posts still remain (with your name).
-
Inappropriate?Well, if you've recently changed something, Google will crawl that page again and reflect what is on any particular page. However, this is based on how Google works, so it might take a day or so to see Google results change.
No, old posts on our site won't remain with old names. So, they won't reflect what you may have entered as a name in the past forever. They should reflect what your current username or nickname is. -
Inappropriate? That's definately not what's happening, as I have old posts that are still visible on Getsataisfaction today with my old nickname, and they are 6 month old posts, and the posts themselves still show my full name, despite the fact that my nick has not been my name for 6 months!
-
Inappropriate?Oh, perhaps I misunderstand. Are you saying that your name is in the content of replies or comments? If so, you can mark that as Inappropriate. Just give the "Privacy concern" reason, and we'll remove your posts. My apologies if that isn't apparent.

Inappropriate?I'm not sure I understand, though, because I'm not seeing anything private. If I'm missing something, please point me to it, and you can also reach me at eric [at] getsatisfaction [dot] com if you prefer. I see that you have created two accounts in our system.
Also, please note that it sometimes might be a caching issue for nicknames to change, although that may not be the problem. Just wanted to note that.
