Custom Search and Links on our Pages
It would be great to be have something that let's us add a few custom elements to our Get Satisfaction page. Simple/starter idea is to let us add links to our online help page (maybe just to the right of our product icons???). Even better would be able to embed some custom HTML (extrapolating from weebly design elements) that would let folks do a search of our other repositiories (e.g. search of online help, search of existing company faqs), and then a way to tag it as the answer so the question and selected answer appeared in get satisfaction.

Inappropriate?Hi Casey,
you can add links to any of your company resources like so:

As an admin of your company you can manage those links by clicking the Admin link in the upper right. The link manager is on the bottom of that page.
Your second request is interesting, though more complicated. We'll give that one some thought.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hi Casey. That second idea is very interesting indeed. Can you point me to the weebly example that you mention?

Inappropriate?Hi Leslie,
Sure. If you go to weebly.com, and sign up for a free account, then click "pages", "new page", then under "Design Elements", click "more" and then drag a "Custom HTML" element onto the page. You click in the "newborn" element on the page and a "Edit HTML" button appears above in the banner, then you click it (a few too many clicks :-)) and a text area field appears where you can paste/type custom HTML. For example, I pasted your embed code into my "Questions" page at www.FaceSay.com and presto :-).
Weebly has a separate "Footer HTML" in their "Settings" page, by the way, that is perfect for analytic trackers (I use opentracker.net and crazyegg). It would be great to be able to track navigation on our company getsatisfaction pages :-).
Longer term, I can see the benefit of having a simple page layout capability ala Weebly for GetSatisfaction (busdev partnership???), but for now an "add new custom html" button (ala add new links) on the admin page, which would display a text area field where we could paste/edit custom HTML and maybe designate the position (bottom/footer, top/header, left col, right col???) would be great. What do you think?
Casey
