Customizable header / colour scheme for companies [Interface improvement]

Customizable header / colour scheme for companies [Interface improvement ideas VI]

Hi Get Satisfaction team,

I get constantly confused (or maybe tempted to) by the fact that all headers on Get Satisfaction look the same and I'd just like to click on "Start a topic" and write something about a company on which' space I am not! Of course this is a usability "problem", which I grumped about earlier (I hope you are still somehow considering it...), but also a visual / corporate design issue.

E.g. I also at first mentally "mismatched" a company representative in a topic, as all the other open Get Satisfaction tabs were about this other company...Although this might have only happened, because I might be too tired or just stupid ;-), I think this could be something that could be improved anyway...

Customizable header means to me: Customizable logo plus different, individual colour scheme. That would be basic. Additionally you could offer multi-colour and "graphical background" (i.e. graphical "wallpapers" created out of corporate images/photos).

Additional ideas: The "Start a topic" button includes the company logo (even if this is only a visual programming trick and no static, flattened image) and the company representative colour can also be individualized, as well as the text, which could also be dynamically created out of the company name and the static text part "Employee".

As I know some domain issues, I fear all this would be very hard to realize? On the other hand I do know and use a website that does this via javascript or some of this "strange dynamic stuff". ;-) So it is somehow possible...

I'm wondering that no one has asked about this whole issue yet. Although I found this topic, there is no one requesting it for the site itself, I mean "on-site"!

So far...

Kind regards.

PS: This was originally a question, but I made an idea out of it, can't help it. ;-)
