customize status.getsatisfaction.com page to redirect back to company
The message on the current status.getsatisfaction.com page provides a link back to Get Satisfaction home page. I'd suggest a feature for the pro package that provides a link back to the Company site where the error occurred.
If we choose to remove the Get Satisfaction toolbar, our customers may be fairly confused once they get directed back to main Get Satisfaction home page. Perhaps an interim solution would be to message on the outage page that you need to search for your company when you get to the home page.
This represents a break in the UX that could be considered fairly critical given that it's dealing w/ error handling and second, the status page shows up a lot so it deserves a good UX.
My top preference would be to list my Company contact info on this screen. When this occurs, I want to make sure my customers can reach us immediately for help.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Interesting. We've had a bunch of ideas around the status page (some of them quite interesting), but we haven't had time to devote to it. I kind of like your idea. Let me see who I can get to weigh in here.

Inappropriate?Agreed, this is very important. We have this in our queue to deal with. Thanks for the feedback.

Inappropriate?Thinking about this a little more and I may disagree with my original idea. If the status page is coming up because of an issue w/ the app server being overloaded, it's unlikely we'd be able to serve up a page specific to our company site. I think the real issue here is that this page comes up a lot, and therefore it's a concern.

Inappropriate?Great idea Arielle! We need a way for customers to get in touch with us when Get Satisfaction is down. Pleased to hear that this one is on the list!
I’m thankful
