Customize topic types? Submitted data?

(while thinking of upgrading, as a company) I think that in none of the plans allow us to change your 4 topic types (Ask a q, Share an I... etc) into other types. With our product it would make sense to alter these a little.

A second question is that we quite often have to ask the same questions from most users after they reported their initial problem, it would be great to show these while they are reporting, for the benefit them as well (like what browsers are you using, etc)

    Hi Adam,
    These are both great questions.

    Perhaps shockingly, we've never had that first question (adding/changing topic types) come up before. These are generic to pretty much any organization, product or service, so maybe that's why it hasn't been an issue until now. However, we are planning on extending the kinds of structured information we support, as well as (in the immediate future) rolling out formal organization-defined categories which should address many specific needs for organizing content. I'd love to hear more about what your needs are. It may help determine what we do!

    On your second question, we have two ways of addressing this need, one immediate, one planned. First, our existing FastPass option (a.k.a. single sign-on) allows organizations to collect and pass-in any relevant information connected with a user, including browser type, account id, premium plan, etc. Secondly, on our roadmap is a "custom data fields" feature that will allow you to prompt users for any particular information as they're adding their topic.
