Does free package enough for me?
HI,
my needs are simple: people send me feedbacks of some kind (question/idea/problem) and i will answer them. option to delete unwanted feedbacks and that's it more or less. my question comes after i saw a "deletion timer"(?) on a feedback test i sent myself, do i have a limited time to delete feedbacks?
one more thing: without the intention of insulting anyone, is it possible to delete the welcome message?
one last thing: when asking this question i got several options that might answer my question, i clicked on one of the options but it didnt answer it so i went back but the options weren't there anymore, instead i got a list of recent activities in getsatisfaction.

If you don't use the moderation tools, you can always flag that Welcome topic as Inappropriate, and we'll take a look and remove it for you.

thanks Eric, i understand that the moderation tools are for basic+ packages only? i will flag the welcome as inappropriate but i dont intend to insult anyone by doing so :-) -
No insult. We hope to simply make that Welcome topic removable by the employees when they get started.

Yes, the moderation tools are available with the Basic and up packages. If you're using the free version, you can flag content you think needs to be removed and our community management team will review and remove it if we agree. This can take a couple business days, though.
In terms of your final issue about the suggested topics. As you're typing a topic title in, we do a live search but if you click on a link and then go back, you have to type something into the box again to activate the live search results. I hope that answers your question!
And no worries at all about wanting to remove the "Welcome" post. :)

your explanation does answer my question about the live search but notice it might cause duplicates because users might not find their answer in the first link and wont know they need to type something to get the options again... just a thought. other than that - great tool you've got here.

Thanks. Yes, this doesn't work perfectly yet. However, in the case of a duplicate topic, the moderation tools do include both "redirect" and our newest moderation feature, "merge".
