Don't Understand the Unofficial Customer Support Community
I thought this was a forum for me to manage my own customer feedback. However, I only see a Unofficial Customer Support page, which I don't appear to have control over. Did I set this up incorrectly?

Inappropriate?Hi Sean. Anyone can add a company to Get Satisfaction. Thus it's "Unofficial customer support" until a company owner or employee "claims" it. Did you go through the claim process? If so, it can take a few business days for your claim to be approved as we need to verify your affiliation with the company you're claiming. If not, you'll want to do that by clicking the Employees may sign up here link in the top right of your company's community space on GS.
Sorry for any confusion!

I was the one who created this "Unofficial Community" and added the logo. So it's not clear to my why I don't have ownership. I did claim an employee badge however. My goal in using this service was not to create a public forum, but rather have a nifty tool to manage my customer feedback. Do I not understand the purpose of Getsatisfaction.com. I didn't want to create a public profile. Please let me know what I should do. -
Get Satisfaction is a space for creating a customer community. One part of that is about receiving and managing feedback. However, the nature of Get Satisfaction is that everything is public. And it's all part of a bigger network. -
Inappropriate?Sean, I've approved your employee claim. Now that the company section is "claimed" the language will change on that page. No more unofficial.

Inappropriate?By the way, I've been to a party at your barber shop. Very cool space -- and concept.

Inappropriate?I think I still have a gift card for a free shave from that party. I wonder if it's still valid?
I’m curious

Haha! You should go in and find out. You've been working hard -- you could use some man-pampering.
