Editing on final minute: Always freezing. [Important!]
Hi Get Satisfaction team,
I think I report an important problem here:
The problem with the 15 minutes edit time is, every time I enter the "one minute left countdown" ;-) period and try to save my change (always only a small, quick fix / change, don't worry :)), it freezes! And subsequently doesn't show up in the post.
I think, at least your system should be configured that way, that it accepts all changes, made in that last editing period! "Freezing" is just not a solution. ;-)

Inappropriate?Philipp, I think it's mostly an issue of presentation, and there should be a better way to handle the error case when the editing time runs out.
It sounds like what we are currently missing is an indication that your edit could not be saved because it was submitted too late.
What we currently display is the amount of minutes you have left to submit any changes to us for editing. If you start editing when the display is "1 minute remaning" then you will most likely not finish the changes and submit them in time. One way we could improve this interaction is to add in a couple extra minutes leeway on the server side to allow someone who is editing to finish their task, even if it appears on the page that the time has run out.

Yes, that's what I thought! :) How do mean "issue of presentation"? And if you mean with indication one from your side, yes. ;-) I from my side couldn't get any indicator for one result or the other, sorry. I had the tab with this issue open at least 15 minutes, if not longer! It just freezes as said. :(
