If your company has a Get Satisfaction site, be sure to use your official email address to sign up with your user account. This way you'll automatically be set as an employee of your company if an official email domain has been set on your Accounts & Roles page in your Admin section. You must have "admin" status to access this page.

Inappropriate?Hi there!
I recently created the page http://getsatisfaction.com/meyer for a specific library / tech lab that is at Stanford University. Our homepage is http://meyer.stanford.edu and I want to list that on the page. However, I don't want all Stanford employees (there are thousands) with an email address ending @stanford.edu to be considered a part of our library's staff. What would be the best practice here?

Inappropriate?Well, I think that I would not include that domain. If there's an emphasis on controlling who gets added and what their role should be, in my mind it's always better to manually approve these folks. Adding the domain is optional, and in your situation I definitely wouldn't add it.1 Comment
