Get Satisfaction Interface Improvements
Hi there,
see the following ideas I do have for improving your topic interface.
(Source: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/16751/gs-i...)
(As it is not possible to upload image in a way one can look at it (open it) at a reasonable resolution, I'll keep it uploading this way...hope you see the problem...)
Explanations:
Of course there should be also a clickable red button (or green one with a "+", to be consistent), when e.g. I'd not be follow the company "LinkedIn" yet.
Concerning this button, I have to add that I consciously used the term "customer of this company" instead of the verb "use", which is used by you "undifferentiated" for both products & companies on ones own "Your products & companies" site!
Concerning the "three answers" you might get shown the first answers with a (maybe AJAXified / ROR) pop-up button to move you to the next anchor. Somehow like with HTML anchors etc. (I'm not that sure about the the tech stuff, really. O.o)
The display of the position and company name under the picture and name of a person adds to the interaction (possibilities), what I think is of great value!
PS: Sorry for having to "abuse" the names of Ben and Steve.

Inappropriate? We've thought about showing the employee replies and anchoring them like you mention here. Maybe the best thing would be to at least anchor the "best" replies so people can easily get to them.
With regard to the "I'm a customer" detail: We actually mocked up a version of the company home page with this. It's coming soon. It has some extra detail and programming to it, so it is getting some special treatment. But, I hadn't thought about putting it on all of the topic pages, in addition to the company home page. Maybe we should do that.
Thanks for these ideas. Good stuff.
I’m happy

Hi Eric, as you can see, I only want to link to the answers/comment INSIDE the topic, you currently watch. So it is NOT about linking ALL answers (although this should be possible through the peoples profile) but about the ones related to this specific topic, to which they are relevant. Because yes, anything else would only increase the confusion instead of helping anyone! ...and thanks for considering my ideas. :)
